Capt. Dan Goldenberg

Dan Goldenberg has led the Call of Duty Endowment since 2013. Goldenberg, a retired Navy Captain, brings to the job 27 years of active and reserve military service and two decades of business experience – including serving as the Vice President for CSR and ESG Reporting at Activision Blizzard, Sr. Vice President at Frost & Sullivan, and as a Senior Director and Practice Manager at CEB (now Gartner). Highlights of his military service include four tours as a commanding officer, carrier-based naval flight officer, and special assistant to four Secretaries of the Navy: John Dalton, Richard Danzig, Robin Pirie and Gordon England. He holds several individual and campaign awards, including the Defense Superior Service Medal.

Under his leadership the Call of Duty Endowment has risen to become the largest philanthropic funder of veteran employment, backing more than 160,000 high-quality job placements and driving more than $10 billion in economic value for veterans and their families.  Since 2013, the Endowment has proudly invested more than $6 million in US VETS placements efforts, supporting careers for more than 6,800 veterans.

Goldenberg is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, National Intelligence University, Harvard Business School, the Air Command and Staff College, and MIT’s Chief Sustainability Officer Program. Dan serves on the Board of Governors for USAA’s foundations and on the Bush Institute’s Advisory Board. His strong personal connection to veterans and understanding first-hand the impact they can have in the civilian workforce drive the Endowment’s efforts to place 200,000 veterans into high quality jobs by 2030.
