Poster Sessions.

MCON 2026 will feature academic and applied research poster sessions showcasing innovative work that advances understanding and outcomes across the military and veteran community. Researchers, practitioners, students, and community partners are invited to share evidence-based findings, promising practices, and emerging approaches that align with one or more of the conference's core pillars: Economic Mobility, Community & Belonging, Education & Skill Development, Physical Health & Whole Person Care, and Behavioral Health Access & Innovation. Selected presenters will have the opportunity to display their poster on the Expo floor and engage with attendees throughout the event.

The poster sessions are designed to foster collaboration between researchers and practitioners by creating space for dialogue, feedback, and knowledge exchange. While walking the Expo floor, attendees will gain exposure to current scholarship and innovative initiatives while exploring opportunities for future partnerships and translation of research into action.

Special consideration will also be given to research related to lethal means safety, with select posters potentially featured during the conference's designated Range Day programming (Sunday, October 25th).

Whether you are conducting academic research, evaluating community-based interventions, or studying innovative models of support for military-connected populations, the poster sessions offer a valuable opportunity to contribute to the collective effort to improve outcomes and strengthen the military community.
