Brian J. McGuire

Brian McGuire has over 30 years of distinguished service optimizing human performance across military, Olympic, and professional sports environments. Recently retired as Head of the USMC Human Performance Branch, he led development and implementation of fitness standards and injury prevention programs for Marines worldwide.

His experience also spans the highest levels of athletics: Chief Athletic Trainer for Rowing and Canoe/Kayak (Sprint) at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, Lead Athletic Trainer for the NFL Scouting Combine (2008-present), and Athletic Trainer Injury Spotter for the NFL Player Health and Safety Program (2017- present, Lead Spotter in Washington since 2025). He is presently a CrossFit Games Safety Advisory Board member and is also a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association's Blue Ribbon Panel on military readiness.

His 33-year military service includes two Middle East deployments. He serves veterans as a volunteer in the Superior Court of Delaware Veterans Treatment Court Mentorship Program.
