Co-Founder & Executive Director, Hoʻōla Veteran Services at Hoʻōla Farms
Emily Emmons is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Hoʻōla Veteran Services at Hoʻōla Farms in Hilo, Hawaiʻi, and a military spouse and caregiver. Hoʻōla serves veterans, military families, and caregivers through agriculture and culinary training, a food hub and commercial kitchen, and an online farmers market. To date, it has secured more than $2 million in federal funding and served over 600 veterans and military families.
Emily is now scaling that mission through MilVet FARMacy, a national coalition connecting veterans and military families to nutrition, agriculture and culinary programs, and small business development opportunities.
A former field representative for U.S. Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Emily is an Elizabeth Dole Foundation Fellow (Class of 2015), a George W. Bush Institute Stand-To Veteran Leadership Scholar (Class of 2026), and the 2024 Rosie Network Military Spouse Business Owner of the Year.
