John Flynn

Senior Vice President of Global Security (Interim) & Aviation | MGM Resorts International

With nearly 30 years of experience in both military and corporate sectors, he currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Global Security (interim) and Aviation at MGM Resorts International. In this role, he leads a collective team of more than 3,000 personnel responsible for overseeing global security and aviation for one of the world’s leading hospitality and entertainment companies.

He is deeply committed to leveraging his expertise to support and advocate for veterans, military families, and community organizations. He serves on the board of trustees for Olive Crest, the Global Advisory Council for the USO, and the Board for the Red Cross of Southern Nevada. In addition, he holds the position of Air Force Reserve Colonel at AFWERX Vegas, an innovation hub for the U.S. Air Force.

His unique perspective and skill set drive his passion for addressing complex challenges while championing initiatives that support communities and military service members.
