Stephanie Gattas is an accomplished United States Navy veteran, an executive professional, and a fervent advocate for the rights and safety of women veterans. As the CEO and Founder of The Pink Berets, a pioneering nonprofit organization headquartered in Boerne, Texas, Stephanie has dedicated her career to addressing the unique challenges faced by women veterans. The Pink Berets focuses on providing vital care and support tailored specifically for this demographic, helping them navigate obstacles related to mental health, healthcare access, and social reintegration.

With over twenty years of comprehensive experience encompassing military service, healthcare marketing, and nonprofit leadership, Stephanie is actively involved in several prestigious committees that aim to improve the lives of veterans. These include her role as the Committee Chair on Mental Health and Wellness for the Military Women's Coalition, participation in the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Prevention workgroup, and contributions to the Department of Defense Advisory Committee on the Prevention of Sexual Misconduct in the Military. Most recently, she has joined the VA Intimate Partner Violence Task Force, advocating for expanded resources and support networks for those at risk.

Stephanie is a proud alumna of the University of the Incarnate Word and participated in Yale University's All Women’s Leadership Cohort, where she honed her leadership skills and strategic vision. Her unwavering commitment to excellence has led her to receive numerous accolades, including the Points of Light Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and recognition as a L'Oréal Paris Women of Worth Honoree. Under her inspiring leadership, The Pink Berets earned the prestigious title of Nonprofit of the Year in 2019 from the San Antonio Women’s Chamber, further cementing her organization’s impact within the community.

Before establishing The Pink Berets, Stephanie held senior roles at United Health Group as a Senior Marketing Business Analyst, where she played a crucial role in developing marketing strategies and enhancing patient engagement. She also held executive marketing positions at AIGB Healthcare and Weight Intervention and Surgical Healthcare, where her remarkable skills in strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional team leadership delivered significant outcomes.

As a disabled veteran, Stephanie brings a deeply personal perspective to her work. Her unique combination of lived experience and professional expertise informs the development of impactful programs that promote healing, personal growth, and empowerment among her peers. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, which allows her to connect with and serve a diverse range of communities effectively.

Stephanie's commitment to research-driven innovation and her relentless dedication to improving the lives of women veterans have established her as a respected leader in veteran advocacy, healthcare marketing, and nonprofit management.
