Stephanie Muckey

Stephanie Muckey is a recognized leader in veteran population health, championing inclusive healthcare solutions for diverse and underserved veteran communities. As Strategy Advancement Advisor at Humana, she leads initiatives that improve clinical and social health outcomes for veterans and their families. Her work includes designing solutions that complement VA health care and addressing social determinants of health—such as food insecurity, transportation, and isolation—that impact overall veteran well-being and suicide risk. Stephanie helped lead the development and implementation of Face the Fight, a national coalition committed to reducing veteran suicide through collaboration, education, and evidence-based interventions.
A Marine Corps spouse and caregiver, Stephanie brings more than 25 years of experience serving military-connected communities, shaped by 11 relocations and her husband’s eight deployments. Before joining Humana in 2017, she launched the Marine Corps’ first professionalized Family Readiness Program and served as a State Consultant for Military OneSource, a Department of Defense program, where she developed statewide strategies to close gaps in care for military families.
Stephanie also serves as a Trusted Advisor for PsychArmor, guiding the development of military cultural competency education and resources that empower organizations to better support veterans and their families. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications (Public Relations) and a master’s degree in Administrative Leadership, actively supports veteran and military service organizations, and continues to advocate for veterans and caregivers nationwide.
