Todd Yates

Todd served on Active Duty as an Aircrewman and Rescue Swimmer in the Navy before retiring from active duty in 2018 following 21 years of service. As a client of Hire Heroes USA, Todd applied for and was hired into a Transition Specialist role with Hire Heroes USA to assist other Veterans and Spouses with job seeking and military transition. Todd honed his skills as a Transition Specialist while assisting Veterans and Spouses find employment for nearly 4 years before he was promoted to the California Area Manager role. In September of 2022, his team expanded outside of California, and became the Area Manager, West where he oversees a team of 10 Transition Specialists who reside in CA, OR, WA, AZ, and NV.

Todd has extensive experience in Operations and Training Management, Quality Assurance and Standardization, and Project Management. Todd is active in the San Diego business community and is an active member of the North San Diego Business Chamber while serving on the Military Advisory Council and is a member of the Veterans Employment Committee of San Diego County. Todd has been married for 23 years and resides in Spring Valley, CA with his wife Vickie and 3 adult children.
