MCON 2026 Presents: The Warrior BJJ Experience
Presented by We Defy Foundation & Hosted by FUJI BJJ
Step onto the mats. Step into the community.
At MCON 2026, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu isn’t just a competition — it’s a homecoming. For three days at the World Market Center Las Vegas, service members, veterans and their families will watch elite and grassroots competitors go toe-to-toe in a tournament built on the same values that define MCON itself: grit, brotherhood, and the refusal to quit on each other.

The Experience
More Than a Tournament. A Reunion on the Mats.
Every roll tells a story. Every match is a reminder that the fight doesn’t end when the uniform comes off — it just changes shape. This tournament brings that truth to life, live, in front of the entire MCON community.
Competitors won’t just be chasing a podium. They’ll be stepping into a room built by veterans, for veterans — surrounded by teammates, coaches, fellow athletes and total strangers who understand exactly what it took to get here. That’s the culture FUJI BJJ has built its name on: fair divisions, real competition, and an environment where every athlete, from first-stripe white belt to seasoned black belt, gets to test themselves and walk away better for it.
And it doesn’t stop at the edge of the mat. Spectators — MCON attendees, families, fellow service members and the broader Las Vegas jiu-jitsu community — will be right there in it: cheering, connecting, and getting an up-close look at the same discipline and camaraderie that’s helped hundreds of veterans through We Defy Foundation rebuild their strength, their confidence and their sense of purpose.
This is what MCON does best: turn a shared experience into a community. This is jiu-jitsu doing the same thing, live.
Why It Matters
Grounded in Performance. Backed by Purpose.
This isn’t just entertainment — it’s activation with intent. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sits at the intersection of human performance optimization and cognitive health, building the focus, resilience, stress regulation and physical readiness that service members and veterans need both in and out of uniform, which is exactly why We Defy Foundation is investing in research to prove — and scale — its impact.
We Defy Foundation has spent a decade turning that belief into results: helping combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities build long-term resilience through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — not as therapy in the clinical sense, but as a proven, community-driven path back to strength.

For the Las Vegas Community
A Hometown Moment on a National Stage.
Las Vegas has one of the fastest-growing jiu-jitsu scenes in the country — and one of the largest veteran populations in the nation. This tournament brings both together under one roof, giving local gyms, competitors and coaches the chance to compete alongside a national movement, while connecting Las Vegas-area veterans directly to We Defy Foundation’s training network. It’s a moment built to leave a mark on this city’s mat culture — and its veteran community — long after MCON 2026 wraps.
