Mat Olson is a retired U.S. Navy Chief and CEO of 7 Eagle Group, where he helps lead a national mission focused on preparing service members, veterans, and military spouses for meaningful careers beyond military service.

Drawing on more than two decades of military leadership and personnel experience, Mat brings a practical, people-centered perspective to the challenges service members face when translating their experience, leadership, and identity into the civilian workforce. During his Navy career, he led diverse teams, managed complex personnel and administrative operations, developed leaders, oversaw multimillion-dollar resources, and supported organizations operating around the world.

Today, Mat works directly with service members throughout their military-to-civilian journey through the 7 Eagle Academy, connecting them with mentorship, professional development, employer relationships, SkillBridge opportunities, and career pathways. His work also brings employers into the conversation, helping organizations better understand military talent and build stronger pathways from service to employment.
