Neil Markey.

Neil Markey served as a U.S. Army Ranger and Captain, leading soldiers through three combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the service, he advised global organizations as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company and later worked in private equity, before turning his focus to mental health and human flourishing.

Today, Neil is the Co-Founder and CEO of Beckley Retreats, a public benefit corporation running legal psilocybin retreat programs in Jamaica and the Netherlands that pair guided experiences with weeks of structured preparation and integration. A certified MBSR teacher, he is also a part-time MPH candidate at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where his research examines the safety and efficacy of Beckley's own programs. Neil's work sits at the intersection of contemplative practice and modern science, building an evidence-based path for people seeking lasting change.
