VP, Military & Veteran Partnerships, Sensible Care
Rosemarie M. Hirata is the Vice President for Military and Veteran Partnerships at Sensible Care, a comprehensive patient-centered behavioral health company, where she leads the strategy to reach service members, veterans, and their families in every state. She is the founder of Hirata Group, LLC, which advises health care and defense clients on federal market entry, capture, and growth, and she serves as a Strategic Advisor to the Stars and Stripes NOVA Committee, where she leads their Women Veterans Initiative.
Ms. Hirata has spent more than 24 years working on one question: how do you make large, complicated health systems actually work for the people who depend on them. A former Army Medical Service Corps officer who deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq, she went on to shape Military Health System policy in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, direct policy analysis and evaluation for the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, and manage the $200M Global Nurse Advice Line at the Defense Health Agency. Her focus is on military and veteran mental health and improving access to high-quality care to ensure we are honoring and serving those who served.
