Geoff Ziezulewicz

Geoff Ziezulewicz is the managing editor of Military Times and has covered the military and veterans for most of his 20 years in journalism. He started out covering the Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island and was always grateful when he was able to drive back off the causeway. He later headed overseas and covering the Iraq and Afghanistan wars for Stars and Stripes. Geoff centers his work around being a voice for the rank-and-file service member and helping them out when the system screws them over. The jalapeno cheese spread was his favorite MRE item when downrange, and on those trips, he preferred Iraqi Miami cigarettes to Afghan Pine cigarettes.
