As Chief Operating Officer of VetsinTech, Ikram leads the daily operations, ensuring the seamless execution of the organization's strategic initiatives across education, employment, entrepreneurship, and engagement. A visionary leader and thought leader, she excels at building strong teams, optimizing processes, and fostering a collaborative ecosystem. Ikram oversees key initiatives like the VetsinTech Startup Network, VetVC, VetsinTech Academy, and key policies, driving operational efficiency and innovation. Her focus is on scaling services nationwide, aligning with VetsinTech's mission to empower veterans and military spouses in the tech industry.

 

Ikram began her career in the 82nd Airborne Division, 18th Airborne Corps, and 573rd Military Intelligence in the enlisted ranks, serving in multiple operations, including OIF, OEF, and OND, before transitioning to a civilian career in technology and entrepreneurship. She served as a mayoral appointee in the city and county of San Francisco for the Veterans Affairs Commission, where she was president for two years and worked on veteran and military spouses’ issues at local and national levels.

 

Ikram is a recognized expert in signal intelligence and AI/ML applications, enhancing organizational effectiveness in trust and safety domains. She is also an adjunct professor at Menlo College, teaching management and entrepreneurship. She holds an MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of San Francisco and is a doctoral candidate in Business at Golden Gate University.
