Jeffrey R. Hebert, PhD

Jeffrey R. Hebert, PhD, PT is an Associate Professor, School of Medicine at the University of Colorado. He is the Director of Research, and Director of the Physical Performance Laboratory at the Marcus Institute for Brain Health, and an investigator with the Center for Combat Medicine and Battlefield (COMBAT) Research – University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Hebert is a nationally recognized researcher and clinician in the field of neurorehabilitation and central multisensory management related to assessing and optimizing brain health and human performance.
Dr. Hebert’s research principally involves investigating multiple human performance and brain function indices, and related training approaches in mild/moderate traumatic brain injury, with a primary focus in military operators and Veterans. From his three decades of clinical experience and over 15 years leading research investigations, he has developed and published multiple novel conceptual frameworks and scientific discoveries of the complex interrelationships between sensory integration and processing, postural control and mobility and related autonomic function, ocular motor control and visual processing, cognition, mood (e.g., fatigue, emotional dyscontrol, depression, quality of life) and related therapies.
