Larry D. Williams Jr. has dedicated more than 20 years to serving America’s veterans through his leadership at U.S.VETS, the nation’s largest nonprofit provider of services to homeless and at-risk veterans. As Vice President of Programs, Larry oversees the organization’s continuum of care spanning housing, workforce development, and supportive programming, ensuring that every veteran has the opportunity to rebuild their life with dignity.

 In his role, Larry is responsible for fostering a strong therapeutic community across U.S.VETS programs and collaborating with community stakeholders nationwide to advance the mission of ending veteran homelessness. His leadership has been marked by innovation, consistency, and a deep commitment to both staff and clients.

 Larry’s work has been recognized with numerous awards, including two senatorial commendations, two congressional recognitions, and a Congressional Record presented by the U.S. House of Representatives. His compassion and advocacy have earned him respect from peers, community partners, and most importantly the veterans he serves.

 A proud veteran himself, Larry completed a four-year enlistment in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1989. He later earned his Master of Business Administration in 2011.

 Beyond his professional achievements, Larry finds his greatest joy and motivation in his family, his wife Lorraine, their five children, and four grandchildren.
