Richard Egan

Richard Egan is a Suicidologist working for the state of Nevada as the Suicide Prevention Training and Outreach Facilitator for the past 13 years. He brings to his position experience in suicidology, administered leadership, supervision, and as a suicide prevention educator. His experience includes 26 years in US Air Force Munitions Systems Technology. Thirty-eight years’ experience and certified in facilitating training objectives. Thirty-four years’ experience preventing suicides utilizing awareness, prevention, alertness and intervention skills and certifications. Two years’ experience facilitating training objectives to the public for Clark County Department of Family Services. Richard Egan was born Oct 15, 1965 on Travis AFB, California and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in Eldorado Hills, California in 1984. He enlisted in the Air Force and reported to Lackland AFB, TX for basic military training in July 1986. Mr. Egan retired from the United States Air Force on 1 August 2012. Sergeant Egan was first assigned to Las Vegas Nevada in August of 1998. Richard and girlfriend Claire Dipinto reside in Las Vegas. Richard’s daughters Kymberlie, and first granddaughter Ry live in Henderson NV, Emaleigh is in NC, Ciara is in WA, Alyssa, Joseph (son) and Claire’s son Ian reside here in Las Vegas
