AJ Veal serves as the Director of National Outreach with The Headstrong Project, leveraging 11 years of military and non-profit sector leadership to expand barrier-free mental health care for the veteran community. AJ is a U.S. Army veteran who has a proven track record of driving strategic growth and operational excellence. His background includes directing program operations, large-scale morale initiatives and transition services for military non-profits overseas and stateside. Prior to joining Headstrong, he engineered comprehensive outreach campaigns within the non-profit healthcare sector, specific to military traumatic brain injury. He holds a bachelor's degree and is a dedicated community leader and sports coach.
