Jen Nam
Jen served 10.5 years on active duty as an Army intelligence officer with multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She continues her service in the Army Reserves. As a former Division I swimmer and a strong advocate for the benefits of physical activity, Jen has a deep passion for the veteran community and empowering individuals to recreate outdoors.
Jen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. She currently works at Meta as a strategy and operations manager in the virtual reality space. Additionally, she serves as a board member of Paradox Sports, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing adaptive climbing opportunities that defy convention and transform lives and communities.
In her free time, Jen enjoys pursuing a range of mountain adventures, with her favorites including alpine and rock climbing, and backpacking. Although she resides in San Francisco, California, she’s frequently on the move, traveling for mountain expeditions, balancing her love for the outdoors with her professional commitments.
