Kendra Simpkins Walsh, LCSW, is a U.S. Army veteran and Founder and CEO of Operation Warrior Resolution (OWR), a nonprofit transforming mental health care for veterans and their families through innovative, holistic approaches to trauma recovery and suicide prevention. A Columbia University-trained clinical social worker, Kendra has helped grow OWR to serve more than 2,500 veterans and family members, with participants experiencing an average 90% improvement in symptoms of trauma and depression. At OWR’s six-acre Warrior Spirit Ranch in Florida, she is expanding the organization’s model to incorporate nature-based healing, therapeutic beekeeping, regenerative agriculture, and a permaculture food forest to create opportunities for veterans to reconnect with community, purpose, and the land.
