Mike Rausch

As the Director of Recruiting at Fastenal, Mike is responsible for leading and developing all talent acquisition strategies and enhancing the employer brand. He is known for his vision, passion, and commitment to all recruiting and development efforts. Mike works closely with executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners to foster great relationships with the goal of building a strong pipeline of future leaders.

He began his Fastenal career in 1995 right out of college where he graduated from Carson-Newman University in East Tennessee with a BS degree in Business Management and an emphasis in Marketing and Human Resources. Mike has accumulated a wide range of experiences with Fastenal over the past 30 years in key roles within the organization as a General Manager, District Manager, and his current role as Director of Recruiting.

He leads, trains, and mentors a team of Regional Recruiters across the United States and continues to expand the recruiting team with a recent focus on adding employee development support.
