Robert Yarnall

Robert retired as a Master Gunnery Sergeant after 25 years of distinguished service in the Marine Corps. He deployed with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Following his deployment, he dedicated eight years to recruiting duty before transitioning to the Reserves to further his education.

Robert earned his Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, graduating Summa Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University, and spent 20 years teaching Civics. He brings 28 years of nonprofit leadership experience, having chaired numerous boards and committees.

Robert and his wife, Kim, are proud parents of six children and a grandson, with two of their sons also serving in the Marines. Together, Kim and Robert have completed the Marine Corps Marathon race series, a century bike race, and numerous ruck and hike challenges to raise awareness and funds in support of wounded service members and veterans.

Today, Robert serves as the Vice President of Development & Impact for the Robert Irvine Foundation, where he leads the Foundation’s Face the Fight initiative to combat veteran suicide.
